For 2023, the Get Growing Trail ran over the weekend of 3–4 June and was an opportunity for citizens to explore Bristol’s community growing spaces

Here we celebrate a decade of the Bristol Food Policy Council, thank all those who contributed to its success and look forward, considering how its work will continue across the city.

Resources were made available during the COVID-19 pandemic by Bristol Food Network for those who needed support during this time.

The Bristol Going for Gold team’s Bristol Bites Back Better campaign gives people the power to make our city and communities stronger through food, now and into the next decade.

Bristol Food Network participated in this trans-disciplinary, real world impact-focused research group with Wessex Water/GENeco and the Centre for Sustainable Energy.

As part of our commitment to support a city where good food is available to all, we took the bold step to coordinate the first Community Fridge in Bristol.

Bristol Food Network ran the Bristol Food Connections festival in 2014, 15 & 16. In 2017 a new independent organisation was set up to run the festival, Food Connections CIC.

Bristol Food Network hosted the Food Action Group on behalf of the Green Capital Partnership as part of Bristol’s year as European Green Capital.

BFN, in partnership with Bristol Food Policy Council, Bristol Green Capital Partnership and Destination Bristol, ran a campaign to highlight the city’s diverse independent retail and vibrant high street shopping centres.
